The Borderline Business Forum is an event aimed at establishing regional, national and international business contacts. This is the place of industry meetings, effective scientific discussion panels and practical workshops on the use of new technologies. This year's Forum is held under the slogan „Metal Industry Design” on 25th and 26th October 2018. It is the only event in the region dedicated to the metal and machinery industry. The Science and Technology Park Poland-East in Suwałki will perform the function of an industrial town for two days, where science meets business.
For two days the most influential people from the metal and machinery industry, scientists, as well as representatives of local governments will discuss the development of the metal and machinery industry in the Borderline region and the possibilities of implementing Industry 4.0 in the north-eastern region of the EU.
The themes of each edition are industries important from the point of view of the region's development. The 2nd Forum was held under the slogan "Food Industry Life" and concerned the agri-food industry. It gathered nearly 70 business guests and over 250 visitors to fairs and exhibitions. Among them were the participants of the 10th annual conference of the Innovation Circle Network. During two days there were fairs and exhibitions of over 50 exhibitors, business meetings and interesting discussions, engaging presentations and lectures.
The organizers are eager to make the third edition of the Borderline Business Forum even better and bigger, both in terms of exhibitors, as well as substantive input and the quality of B2B debates and meetings.
